if it is turning over, but not firing. check the coil, distributor cap, plugs. -- easiest way to do this is to pull a plug, leave the wire plugged into it, and have some one turn over the motor while you watfch the plug for spark. if no spark, it may be the dist cap, or maybe the coil, to check the coil, get a srewdriver with a plastic handle, stick the metal end of it into the plug wire that runs from the coil to the dist cap, put the screwdriver in the end that goes into the dist cap. make sure the metal touches the screwdriver. then have some onoe turn it over, and hold the screwdriver(metal part) close to something grounded in the car. neg battery terminal, or a screw that screws into something hooked to the frame (metal) but make sure there is a smal gap between the ground and the screwdriver, if the coil is good, you will see a spark from the screwdriver to the ground.

if the coil isnt bad, the dist, cap is.

if all of that is good, check the fuel, disconnect the fuel line and see if it starts bleeding up, if it doesnt, have some one turn it over and see if the fuel shoots up. if it does, you are getting fuel, and it may be your injectors, or a sensor. and your ecu may be able to tell you.How to test a internal coil to see if it getting fire to the rotor and the distributer cap on a 1995 Mazda 929Go to your local library or auto parts store, for a manual covering your auto.Chilton's or Haynes are OK.
